School of Choice Information

Families that attended our 8th grade “Tour of Titan Treasures” event on Tuesday, 1/24 were told that Tesoro was designated as “closed” for School of Choice. Our School of Choice status has been revised and we are now an “open-limited space school.” This means that families may apply for School of Choice at Tesoro but there is limited space and School of Choice could close if grade level or total school reaches capacity.

Please understand that there is never a guarantee for placement for School of Choice, but that CUSD makes every effort to accommodate student and family requests.

Placement will be granted in the priority criteria outlined in Board Policy 5119 "School of Choice."
