Official PSAT Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Tesoro Registration Information 

  • Preliminary SAT National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test for Grade 11 students  
  • Highest-scoring Junior entrants in each state may qualify

  • Practice SAT Test opportunity for Grades 9 and 10 students; consider waiting to take this test in Grade 11 and take the Free SAT practice tests in the spring offered by Futureology

  • Registration  - TBA

  • Juniors who have a school-related conflict - contact Lisa Wada asap at Do NOT register on Total Registration

Test Day Information:

  • Room assignments will be posted on the front office windows across from the flagpole by the Friday prior to the test day

  • Check-in at 7:45 a.m. to assigned room

  • Students must bring the following:

    • Photo ID (mandatory)

    • #2 pencils

    • Calculator

    • Snack/drink - optional

    • Total Registration receipt is not required

  • Note: Cell phone will be collected in each room and will be returned after the test

  • Dismissal Time: end time will vary between rooms, Noon approx.

Stand-by Test Takers Information:

  • Students who miss the deadline to register and still wish to take the exam may report to the test site on the test date on a stand-by status. Please note that stand-by status does not guarantee a spot for the test, so if you’re interested we encourage you to register prior to the deadline.

  • Students showing up for stand-by status need to bring: cash in the amount of $35.00, a photo ID, #2 pencils, and a calculator.

  • Students will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis (Juniors will have priority), please have student report to the Guidance Office before 7:45 a.m.

Score Report:

  • Students will access their scores online in December at the College Board's website.

PSAT Test Interpretation

PSAT Test 2019 Scores

Students can access their PSAT Test scores via the College Board website. The 2019 scores will be available online December 9-11, 2019. Pick-up hard-copy in the Guidance Office.

  1. Go online to Collegeboard and create a college board account to view the online version of the score report. The online version has a ton of more information and resources for your student...and it is Free.
  2. Create a Khan academy account at and link this account with their college board account. This will allow each student to have Free access to:
    1. A tailored practice plan - Import your PSAT/NMSQT results and pinpoint your areas of need to practice.
    2. Interactive practice - Thousands of practice questions, video lessons, and hints.
    3. Practice test and more - 7 official full-length practice tests, plus study and test -taking tips.
