Fall 2021 Registration

course selection presentations

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - Tuesday, August 17, 2021

 

Registration Packet Pickup Dates:

                                                                         July 19 & 21 8:00am - 11:00am

                                                                              July 20 4:00pm - 7:00pm

   Pickup will be in front of the school.  You may drive up to the curb and our PTSA will be handing out packets.

Registration dates:

July 27th - Seniors

July 28th - Juniors

July 29th - Sophomores

July 30th - Freshmen

August 2nd - Makeup day for all

Freshmen parent orientation:

        August 12th - Format and location TBA

 

Freshmen student orientation:

 August 10th - Format and location TBA

 

Current social distancing guidelines will be followed at registration.  Please observe all posted safety notices and signs.   At walk-through masks are required, students will do the following:

1. Drop off required forms

  • Activities Behavior Contract
  • McKinney Vento Form
  • Free/Reduced Lunch Application ( if applicable)
  • Parking Permit Application (no documentation at this time)
  • Data Confirmation Form (this you will need to print from your computer after you have gone through the confirmation process.

 

2. Books: Turn in books from last year if you have not already done so. If you are missing a book please bring cash or check to pay this debt.

 

3. Take ID/Yearbook picture: Seniors will take senior yearbook portraits through South Coast Photography by appointment at a different time. See flyer in packet.

 

We know there may be some concerns regarding students being on campus to take pictures. We will have strict distancing guidelines in place, with 3 camera stations set up in our large gym, with photographers a minimum 6 feet away from students.

Students will need their ID’s to pick up their books at a later date. And, these photographs are used for our yearbook.

 

We will be scheduling make-up pictures at a later date.

 

4. Obtain Schedule of Classes: Go to online Aeires Portal. Schedules will be available on the morning of August 2nd. Follow this link to log into your Aeries portal

 

5. Data Confirmation Form

You will need to print a copy of your data confirmation form after following the directions on the outside of the registration envelope. Portal.capousd.org This is the form that you will need to bring with you to registration. This is a REQUIRED form for registration. You will not be allowed to register without it.

 

6. Meetings with academic advisors: If you have questions or need a schedule change you can call or email your academic advisor. They are available for either in person or online appointments. Advisors will not be available for drop-ins during registration.  Click here to submit course drop/add requests. 

The following activities that traditionally take place at registration have been delayed or moved to an online format to meet safety protocols and prevent the lines that typically form during registration.

 

7. Purchase ASB class packages. See options/prices in packet flyers.

Please DO NOT bring these order forms or payments with you to registration. Instead, please use the following link - Tesoro Shop, to order on-line. After registration and school has begun, a time will be set up for students to pick up their items.

 

8. ASB Cards & Yearbook - ORDER ONLINE @ Tesoro Shop

If you plan to purchase an ASB card please do so prior to coming to registration and bring your receipt with you. This will allow you to get your correct ID with the ASB designation on it during registration. Class packages will be distributed within the first few weeks of school through a drive up/no contact process. Details to come.

  

9. Textbooks: With our online curriculum, textbooks might not be needed for all classes so they will be distributed once school starts and students know what textbooks they will need. Details to come.
